Making Appointments

Patients are seen by appointment only, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. To schedule an appointment, please call 423-855-8522 during regular office hours. When scheduling your appointment, please be sure to let our staff know the reason for your visit so we can be sure and schedule an appropriate amount of time for your evaluation and/or treatment.

Canceling Appointments

If you find you are running late and find that you are unable to keep your appointment, or if you need to reschedule your appointment, please call us at 423-855-8522 as soon as possible, so that we can see another patient sooner during the day.

Telephone Calls

If you are experiencing any problems with your eyes, please feel free to call our office anytime.  The doctor would want to know if you are experiencing a problem.  Our staff are caring and knowledgeable and will direct you appropriately. If you need to speak with Dr Wessels urgently, please give the staff as much information as possible, so that they can pull your charts so that the doctor can be to answer your question when he speaks to you.

There is always the possibility that the doctor is not in the office, doing surgery, or at an outlying clinic. Be assured that he will try to contact you as soon as possible

Prescriptions

If you need a prescription refill, please call during before 4 pm, and be prepared to give us the following information:

1) your name as it appears on the prescription,

2) the name of the medication on the prescription, and

3) the name and phone number of the pharmacy where you would like to pick

up the prescription.

If anything has changed since your last prescription, you may need to be seen before any additional medication can be prescribed.
